Aircraft Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft flying above a well-attended California coastline unexpectedly began spiraling out of control, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm groves as onlookers looked on.
Videos shared on social media show the chopper commencing to spiral near the shoreline then falling in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm trees and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders said five people were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on that day.
Three persons on the road were injured. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
